hi we log in as the grey nomads but have been absent from here over last few months whilst going through process of having sold our house, then 6 months renting of accomodation whilst downsizing our belongings to fit in our new pride and joy. an autosleeper gloucester which is to be our full time home for the forseeable. we are both retired ,love travelling and walking with our goldie Elsa, and have only just started to get into the full time lifestyle we have chosen. We have had a lot of hiccups along the way but all of them can be looked back and laughed at so nothing major. Just one problem we have is that we are unable to find a company which will insure our possesions as they are not house bound and we are only in use of c/o address for log book etc . Current van insurance quite liberal over use but not 100% full time so white lie told but will only cover van furnishings.

try renting a house one week a year so you are no longer fulltiming. That small lie will invalidate your insurance, and there are those who are in the trade that read these post . sorry but hung by your own petard. There are many threads on here re full timing insurance, there is also a full timers only section, non public viewing when you may get the answers you need. Good luck. And troubles aside enjoy the new life.
