I wouldn't dream of setting off anywhere without a full tank, I would like a bigger tank as its only 160 Lt.
And I carry a spare cassette, so now problem surviving for the duration.

Morning all from a bright and breezy Retrofestival - we still have another 30 folk to arrive so marshals on duty waiting. Weather overnight was a bit wet but all gone by the time we woke up at 6am and I walked the dog. supposed to be a but more rain this pm and possible windy later but lots going on and lots to see so well worth the trip.

What time!

I didn't wake up until 9:15 but we were dancing all evening.

Where were all the other Funsters on the dance floor?

Dance floor a lot better this year and put it back at the other end in the Black Hanger so not quite so slopey. But the slope still makes it painful to dance, knees suffering this morning.

Morning Funsters, spent last night in the Spitfire dancing to Hot Shoes Swing band good night & good dance floor even if a tad slippery.
Went over to the Black Hanger for the last ½ hour. Noticed security guards everywhere then noticed the Pi-keys were there again this year, was hoping last year was a one off.

Just enjoyed a great weekend . Unfortunately it was a tad windy so not much chance to get to know other Funsters round the pitch. A big thank you to the marshall / greeter I think it was Rosie who checked us in and a helpful chap with long hair showed us to the pitch. As above, knees aching from a slopey floor but all the marquees were good music and great fun.

Did I read somewhere the marques were going to be bigger or did I dream that.

Seemed the same size as last year especially the black hanger.
This one seems very popular just wondering if it would be a good idea for a more square and bigger one with a bigger dance floor.

I think it was a bit bigger this year. The dance floors were a lot better but they need to do something about the slope on the floor in the Black Hanger at least they put it back to the less slopey end this year. But still painful on the knees and ankles fighting the slope. Alright if you only do the odd dance but we dance all evening and a lot of the afternoon. Thank goodness the floor in the Spitfire was flat.

Bill told me that an offer was made to upgrade the ground to make it flat along with some other upgrades.

They were turned down by the site owners.
