Hi there

Passes are different this year as they are electronic, everyone will receive an Email which will have a QR code and gate pass in it, these will be sent out a week or so before the event.

In the ideal world you print the QR code and pass when you receive the Email, but for those who do not own a printer, you can show the email containing the QR code to the gate staff, on your mobile device, phone, ipad, Tablet, Laptop etc.

Many thanks

A few of my biker chums are going but I decided not to go as it would mean buying a printer or an iPhone, Tablet or iPad for the occasion.

I am sure you must know someone who owns a printer who could print your E ticket for you ;);)

I probably do. I was just being a bit mischievous as I've always seemed to be printing stuff for others until my printer went platen up a couple of months ago and I went to PC World knowing exactly what I wanted. However, the essential facts and expertise-filled assistant so thoroughly overwhelmed me with nerdy options that I came away and went home for a lie down.
I could get the local stationary shop to print it from my laptop I guess but my desire to go to 'Fests' is marred by my experience at The Great Dorset Steam Fair a couple of years ago: Queuing for more than a mile to get in, packed camping fields, crowded music events and torrential rain forcing me and many others to be towed out of almost knee deep mud. Nah.

Enjoy! ;)

I even produced a cartoon for my bike club magazine........

Lol.

We do the Dorset steam fair every year, it's about 20 mins drive for us (y)

I can assure you that there isn't a queue like GDSF to get into Retro (y) (y)

The Newbury show ground drains, if it rains, very well, as it is designed to ,it also has proper roads into and around it which helps if wet.
The Retro show itself is very good normally, with many things going on and hopefully will be this year. I arrive on Thursday and have never queued to get in.
