From the Retro Festival Website:

'A MESSAGE ABOUT THE CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) PANDEMIC AND OUR 2021 FESTIVALS
As we have been saying during these difficult and uncertain times, we want to assure our customers, traders and exhibitors that whatever happens in the weeks and months ahead, you will not be left out of pocket.
In light of the latest announcements from the Government about the 4 step easing of lockdown we are confident that Retro Festival Newbury on August 13/14/15 2021 will go ahead as planned.
However, following the Prime Minister’s announcement on 5 April 2021, it is clear that there is unlikely to be any change at this stage to the dates for steps 3 and 4. That means that Retro Festival Newark on June 11/12/13 2021 falls between steps 3 and 4 making it subject to capacity limits and other significant constraints. Consequently, with heavy hearts, we have had to take the decision to cancel Retro Festival Newark 2021.'

So, sadly, Newark Retro is unable to go ahead.

If you have tickets and did not request a refund you can either transfer to Newbury this year (2021) or have a refund - we cannot roll over Newark to 2022

When you paid on the 5th march 2020 you had a confirmation on Eventree's booking page at the time of payment.

On the 22nd of May we asked everyone whether they would like a refund or to transfer to 2021, and you opted to transfer.

You are on the list of attendees ( which we will publish shortly ) for Retrofest Newbury 2021 .

Apart from information posted here on this thread the next correspondence that everyone will receive will be an automated email from Eventree nearer to the event with a main entrance pass and a QR code.

Booked for last did not ask for refund was told tickets transfer to this year only have old receipts thigh as organisers dont seem to send any correspondence

Hi Lenny.

All changed, you put " motorhome fun " as your forum name, so by default your name was used.


I am sure that you will not be the only person asking to have their name changed as there were quite a few people who filled the
" FORUM NAME" box incorrectly, I have seen " # " "Rallies, shows and gatherings" and even "Retro festival Newbury"

The list in the first post are the forum names copied from the exel document exported from the ticket company.

Hi Tony.

As we didn't get a response from you when we originally sent out the emails to to everyone to confirm whether they wanted to transfer or receive a refund, you have automatically have been refunded for the first booking.

So you have only paid once.

Being our first time at retrofest as funsters do we still have to e-mail them if we are over 7.5 metres please can someone tell me so I can get it all booked tonight . Thanks in advance and see you there . John

Hi John.

Its only general camping that has a 7.5 meter length limit, In the Fun and RVOC area we have no length limit, in the RVOC area we have many RVs that are up to 12 meters (y)

As a funster all you have to do is click the link at the beginning of the thread and fill the application form in.
Also as a funster it doesn't matter what size your Motorhome / caravan is you will be on the showground with your fellow funsters (y)(y)
