Retaining rear doors at 90° on a pvc?

Hi, can anyone point me in the direction of the previous post on this subject?
I know it's there somewhere in this vast knowledge base but searching does not find it.
Failing that any ideas on how to easily stop the doors at 90°?
Been searching the net most of the evening and the best I can find is a couple of gas struts.

My Boxer doors stop at 90 deg., you have to move a lever to allow them to open more but I covered mine over.
