Hi,

Any tips on how to restore the light grey trim around the radiator opening has lost its sheen with age?

Wipe with a rag that has been sprayed with WD40.

Sounds daft, but it works.

peanut butter
Peanut butter looks superb, until it rains, then the job looks worse than it did in the first place.
I'd vote for WD40 or better still on of the proper plastic shine restoring creams/sprays.

There was a letter in mmm suggesting peanut butter. Mmm added the caveat that you shouldn’t then eat it. Being surrounded by woodland I have enough trouble with squirrels without attracting them to lick the van. Would products like dashboard cleaner be an alternative. Try an unobtrusive area first

Thank you all for your great advice, Motorhome Funsters are a fantastic reservoir of knowledge!

Autoglym bumper and plastic trim gel. Stays for a good few months. Tend to redo mine a couple of times a year.
