I've just added a new resource file but as far as I can see there is no new post in the forum to show that it's been added ...

When I looked in the resources files it is there but there are many that I haven't seen.. or missed..

Perhaps a flag on the Resources button, same as the Media and Showcase albums ?

how do we know when a new resource file has been uploaded. ?

Sorry Jim I disabled that when I was adding a load of files and didn't want to swamp the forum with new threads. I will enable the feature again. As you say, an auto-thread generated when a file is added the best way to promote it
