We have an Autosleeper, Revenna and would like to to replace the driver and passenger seats. Does anyone near Wigan know of anyone who can do this for us or any advice at all?

The whole seat. They are not that comfy.
Ok, I see.
Somebody with more knowledge about fixing points will be needed. It is possible though that a recover which includes re- cushioning might do the trick but unfortunately commercial van seats are not very comfy in the first place.
Good luck

Not really true, my Peugeot seats are very good even if driving all day. I’ve had 6 motorhomes including new ones and all come with the factory fitted seats just the same seat as if it was a commercial vehicle , the only difference is that some manufacturers put an extra arm on to make a pair, then they can call them captains chairs.

Good to hear that. The Ducato ones are terrible, we are both very tall though and so there is little or no under thigh support.

If its a mk6 transit, the Mk7 should just bolt in. If mounted on swivel they maybe modified. My Mk7 I find very comfy.

We are thinking of doing the same!
Ours is a VW Crafter conversion and both front seats (especially the passenger) are really uncomfortable.

Do you or anyone else know …. if you have to replace with the same brand as the base vehicle or can you get generic seats that will fit the same base?

Depends on age? It is more difficult if the seats have 1) seatbelt mount attached to seat? 2) the seats have wiring for airbag sensors? 3) seats on swivels?

Ah! Great feedback - thanks. Van is pre airbag technology, the seats both swivel but can we remember for the life of us whether the seatbelt is attached to the seat or not 🧐
will have a look tomorrow.
