We would like to replace the blinds, which are side pull, for a horizontal pull up and/or down blind. So far I have been unsuccessful finding a supplier or even knowing which make for a more thorough search.

Ours is not a young van at 2008, but I have seen the same model of a similar age with a horizontal blind. So guess the right cassette will fit, it is just a case of finding the right cassette!

Has anyone any ideas before we go down the dealer route?

look in the user manual if it is an optional extra at the factory

If it needs re stringing, Zepp put a post on here some time ago about a company called Breeze Blinds in Poole who worked on and fixed his Carthago A class front blind for about £30. This was 2020, so probably gone up, if they are still around!

Thanks but we want to.replace a side pull set.up with a horizontal blind.

Basically I cannot reach to open it on the drivers side. They take quite a bit of careful fetalling to put away. Also they are getting tatty at the bottom.

Is‘nt there a Carthogo owners cub or facearse? Failing that, Camper UK should be able to tell you/relieve you of your hard earned cash.

I am sure carthago wil, just like others, buy in a standard blind to fit it's vans. Measure the width of the screen and search for cassette roller blinds

Armytwowheels Did you ever get anywhere with this?
Something we are contemplating. We have the side pull pleated ones which are fine, just a little more difficult to get to compared to a centre pull up.
Hey, sorry for such a slow response.
Unfortunately we still haven't found a suitable replacement. We are spending some money on refurbishing the inside of the van, but I think the replacement blind will have to be phase two next year.
