I have a 2006 B654 and the large skylight leaks or at least it drips from that vicinity.
I asked a dometic dealer for a Heki 3 replacement and he said
Bonjour,
je suis désolé, mais le Héki 3 ne peut pas remplacer votre rooflight. Il est nécessaire de voir avec le réseau Hymer pour une pièce de rechange identique.
Désolé pour cette mauvaise nouvelle.
Has anyone fitted a Heki 3 to a Hymer roof as apart from cutting a larger hole I cannot see the problem
and it’s not a cheap item to find out he was right.

It's not that big a job to take the skylight off, clean and reseal with new nin setting mastic. I did mine last year (2006 Hymer). In time the sealant hardens and leaks but 17 years isn't bad, I've heard some people have to redo them after much less time.

I resealed the roof light on my last Hymer on a 2003 plate, a straightforward job with no subsequent problem.
I prefer the parallel opening Hymer roof light as in changeable conditions it can be left open when parked up without fear of rain driving in.

Cannot find a new skylight to replace the existing one as I’ve cracked it and gaffer taped it up, so my options are to buy new whatever the make, hence does Heki present a problem if I go that route.

If you have cracked the skylight, you can normally just buy the part you need depending on the make. I have fitted a heki 3 to my van. I must say the price seems to have gone up a lot over the past 3 years from leisure direct, however O’Learys is better value.
