Can Anyone Help?

I have a short list of potential Motor homes. On various Base models.

Rapido, Fiat and Merc; Hobby Fiat. Le Voyager Merc;

Has anyone had experience of any of these God or bad. Pointers as to what to look out for would be nice too?

Thanks

Pete

That's a huge question. I could flippantly suggest reading every post on MHF for the last say three years as a starter! But I won't. :)

Trouble is I have spent the last 2 days probing the postings, and information is quite sketchy at best. hence the request.

I think it's a minefield Pete in all honesty, every manufacturer will have a problem occur with one of their MH's at some point and you're more likely to hear somebody moaning rather than praising a manufacturer so it's a bit like buying a car, you'll buy a good one that's never in the garage for repair or you can have the same model that's never out of the garage, i think it's very much an individual decision, good luck anyway

Think at the end of the day it's which van and layout suits you best, there is good and bad in all of them, and it's often just the bad ones that get commented on where the vast majority keep on going well. We have had a Fiat for the past 10years and it's served us well (fingers crossed).

Layout, layout, layout, then make and model.
