We have a Nordelettronica mcu-s distribution unit (picture below) which seems to have a dodgy mains connector where the mains cable comes in to it. If I wiggle it, it causes the mains in to the MH (swift) to turn on/off.

I know I can get a surplus replacement from oleary motor homes for £140 but wondered if anyone knew of a different make/style that did the same thing?

You might find a dodgy connection or even the cable but that would be a long shot , if it is there is a danger of it running hot so needs looking at. I would say a fairly standard box except for the switches.

Definitely a dodgy connection! As we’re currently living full time in it the easiest option is a straight replacement but wondered if a different distribution unit would work, be better, and if so what one?

There’s so many choices out there and would prefer to replace with something others have used. The switches let us turn on the hot water heater etc so would like to keep that feature.

I would certainly look into the possibility of it just being a cracked / bad solder joint on the PCB.
Could be as simple as that and just needs the joint re-soldering.. (y)

Thanks, that’s my first thought as well and happy to do if it is but also wanting options if it isn’t
