replace webasto for other heating sys (1 Viewer)

Morning i got a webasto dual top rha 100 and not working it says message 01 no data connection in manual says remove fuses i did still same .
Phoned a few garages and all the same change fuses etc wiring .What shall be the cost too change it for other system bit younger this top is old model i think and what maybe on gas its on moment diesel any idea,s for this project thanks in advance or maybe a solution for this problem thanks

We used to have a Webasto Airtop in our previous van and it was very voltage temprementa. We ended up having to start the van to get the voltage high enough to fire it but once going it was brilliant. We replaced the batteries and wiring but gave up in the end. I’d just get a Chinese one now if I was on the market and save over £1000.

This is the sequence I follow

fault light flashes 12 times it has gone into lock down mode.
1 Turn on the heater
2 Take out the fuse
3Turn off Webasto and wait 15secs
4 Reinsert fuse
5 Restart Webasto (may need more than one cycle)
It generally works but as mentioned above by JonnyWilson the voltage needs to be high enough and I generally start it with the engine running to make sure there is enough current to fire it up.
