My sister in law recently ended up in intensive care in a hospital near Benidorm. I am pleased to say she has recovered and has recovered quite well.

This got me thinking, all of the bills for her hospital treatment will be recovered via her EHIC card, but this would not of helped with repatriation if she needed it. She could not fault the care got from the hospital via her card .

But is there an insurance you can obtain for repatriation only?

We often take out winter sports cover with rescue, accident and repatriation only.
Stuff like cancelled flights and lost baggage just isn't needed in a motorhome!
Have you tried Insure and Go or similar budget travel insurance companies?

I suspect the difference in price between what you want and full insurance might not be that great, given how expensive repatriation would cost. I carry the EHIC card but also have insurance.
