Going through the last French tolls before Calais last week I scuffed one rear locker panel  Only thing I can say in my defence is that it was midnight and I had just driven from Parc Verger.

Got it off this morning along with the opposite side which I scuffed two years ago, and took them down the sprayers, they can't match the colour so I have to give them the fuel flap, and they can send that off to one of the paint manufacturers, who using some tricky equipment can get a 99% match.

Phoned Dudleys and they do the same :whatthe: They said the paint is made by Sheerwyn Williams, a yank company and isn't available in the UK.

One of these days I will learn how to drive the winnie.

Ian we all do it mate.

I was on a very B road the other day and meet a dead lorry blocking most of the road. I stupidly tried to push by like the buses had after waiting a long while and damaged my own bus almost deliberately.

Matching paint is something i am going to consider seriously when my bus is repainted as don't want to find myself in your boat with finding a specialist match.

Enjoy you break and don't beat yourself up:winky:

On my motorhome its quicker to count the panels that are not scratched, but only most of them are my fault:Smile:

Hi John, thanks but its hard not to, if instead of putting a lock on, I had got out and pushed the mirror back (swingback mirror bought at vast expense from Linda) it would have missed the pole, and the back of the RV wouldn't have clouted the concrete.

Been quoted 3 hours per panel at £32 per hour plus paint.
