50 years of boating, just one on motorhomes.
I have installed a renogy dcdc50s and am charging my lithium battery with it, just solar at the moment but the dcdc will have the same issue. Under the lithium profile it charges at 14.2 and just continues to maintain that voltage (obviously the charge current goes to nothing once the battery has reached this voltage. I am not happy with this voltage which brings the cells very close to their maximum of 3.65v. I would rather only charge to 3.5v (or even 3.4). Obviously I can use the BMS on the battery to stop charging but it would be far better to get a more sensible profile on the charger. I have the BT module and the DC Home app on my iPhone but I can’t find any way to adjust the profile? I have found some reference to a older app that is no longer supported (renogy bt) but I am worried that this is going to cause issues on a unit that was developed after that app became obsolete.

Hi David. I have this unit in my current van which has AGM batteries. I'm sure in the Renogy BT app you can set all the charge settings to whatever you want?

Thank you I will check that out tomorrow
