enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
I have a Renogy DC - DC 60A that doesn't appear to be charging

It has the green light on when ignition is turned on, however this is not a D+, just a live when the ignition is on. Could this be stopping it from working, must it be a D+ signal wire?

I am able to isolate the on board split charging unit so there is no conflict between the two and the on board charger works as it should when not isolated albeit with only around 20A going into the leisure battery (plus I assume some being diverted to the fridge)

If anyone can offer advice other than bin it and buy something else....??

And on a linked issue, does the fridge need 12v in order for it to work on gas? I am assuming it does otherwise you can't set temp etc and operate the thermostat - or have I just answered my own question lol

What can you measure, voltage wise, at the various terminals?

Same difference all it will see from either is a 12v signal.
It has probably gone kaput, not the most reliable of units.
I would replace it with a Victron Orion XS RogerIvy (Off Grid power solutions) does them at a good price and with Funster discount.
