Hi does anyone know of any motorhome parking in or near the town happy travels Rod

I stayed on a lovely free aire just outside the town. It was ajacent to the campsite. So sorry can't remember the name but it was I. The middle of a giant recreation wood and park. There was a bus just about the road that took you into town. About a fifteen minute journey.

Yes. That's the one. The aire is just outside by the edge of a beautiful forest. I wonder if the aire is shut too? It has free services and you used to be able to go into the camping for a shower for two euros.

Maybe check to see if the aire is open?

I parked 100yards outside Rennes airport to pick up Father in law.
Im sure it said free parking for 72 hours!
Which i thought was unbelievable for an airport.
Its soo easy to pick up and drop off.
The only problem we had, was the 85 year old FIL who actually missed his flight, coz he sat there with his watch on Uk time!
But thats another story

Coincidentally I phoned Rennes Airport today to enquire whether there are height/width restrictions for drop-off or parking to drop our friends in Sept. The answer was no restrictions.

Out of interest where is this parking 100 yards from the airport?

Yes Geoff, very easy to pick up and drop off. No restrictions. Drive in on Avenue de L'Aeroport Joseph le Brix, drop or pick up and go down the road, round the roundabout and out again.
I parked on Rue Jules Valles, which is the road just outside. Had a cuppa and waited for FIL to call and just popped round corner.

Thanks for that.

We are dropping off, so would only need the parking if we arrived very early. Our friends are flying in to Beauvais.
