Hi all
Just asking another question about changing of hab battery
Can anyone give me some advice on this
My battery is located under driver’s seat on its side
My van is in storage at moment so can’t get there during lockdown and Will need new battery But can’t remember the set up
Can’t find any videos on this position of battery only one that’s in upright position and that means taking the seat off and getting to battery ( don’t really fancy that myself)
Is the access easier with battery on its side and like me a novice DIY could I replace it easily when I next get to van after lockdown? Any information would be greatly appreciated
Steve

Can you confirm if current one is on its side or upright? You seem to day both? If on its side then I think that must be GEL battery as standard wet battery would eventually leak. Seat off is often only four bolts.

I thought you may be able to access it by undoing a securing plates and connections and it will slide it out without the need for seat removal

Very unlikely there is space to slide it out sorry
