Removing scratches from windscreen (1 Viewer)

i purchased a motorhome from an insurance company that was stolen recovered and while I was cleaning it I noticed that where the vin number is visible in the bottom right of the windscreen the glass looked like it had been sanded with glass paper so you could not see the vin number, has anybody got a recommendation as to what will get the scratches out please, Regards Mike.

But it needs an expensive machine to do properly. It might be worth see if there is someone local who can do it for you.

Maybe a good thing. It's crazy to put on display a number that reveals so much.

Why?

Wait till you need a new windscreen, which your insurance should mostly cover

be careful polishing glass, it gets hot and can shatter
