After our 3 month wander round France now sorting a few 'bits and bobs' out including replacing a blown bulb in the external light and taking teh opportunity to replace the bulb with an LED.

I am probably being a bit of a 'chicken' but knowing how much broken bits cost on motorhomes thought I would ask her first in case any one has done this before. I reckon I just need to lever the clear plastic off the 2 lugs at the bottom but then maybe I should do it from the top!

Enclosed is a photo of said light. Any 'must do'/'must not do' advice excluding of course the usual hammer option gratefully received.

From your photo it looks like there are little tabs in the two holes that just need a small screwdriver or similar to give them a flick and then the clear plastic should slide down, not lift out.
