Going down the M5 caught what I think was a piece of tyre.
It flew up from my back wheel taking a bit of skirt trim with it.
Where it hit the MH body left a few black streaks, biggest an inch wide by 12 ins long. Also a few other smaller ones.
What should I use to remove them?
Is a propietry black mark remover ok?

I'd try a bit of polish first, it should bring it off. It won't help with the missing piece though :(

Got them off using auto glym red polish, micro fibre cloths and a serious about of elbow grease, took 4 hours to get rid of them.
The skirt paint was discoloured under the black so used t-cut white to remove the worst, looks almost as good as new now.
Now waiting for the panel.
Suppose these things happen, just a shame it was on the first week, mind you we did 600 miles in 5 days.
