Those prices are good but just wondering, are Lakeland getting out of the Ramoska business?Sale price £129 (reduced £50 usual price £179)

Do they supply Amazon, you can get Remoska from there? They haven’t reduced the stainless steel version so perhaps they are just going to concentrate on that one. They are currently the only UK supplier of Remoska. Mind you maybe they are less popular now with all the airfryer things. I know the low wattage is the advantage for me and it suits my sort of cooking better anyway for most things.
I didn’t know that so I’m not sure I’m afraid. I though Lakeland were the only UK supplier now but I was obviously wrong.Do they supply Amazon, you can get Remoska from there?![]()
Probably bringing out a new improved version.getting rid of old stock. Those prices are good but just wondering, are Lakeland getting out of the Ramoska business?
They no longer supply the Remoska Tria?![]()
I'm certain my Tria has a 4.5ltr bowl, doesn't sound much extra but cooking a reasonable sized chicken would not be a problem.I just wish Remoska would make a deeper pan/bowl version, although even with larger diameter bowl The Remoska Grand at 4 ltr and the normal 2ltr have the same depth of bowls at 11Cms. A deeper bowl would allow even more options and space for meals without having to use a foil cartouche to stop the higher food charring on top .
Plus, I can almost hear the round of applause as I ask them to consider making a temperature controlled model, but somehow I would also guess the manufacturers have considered this but decided not to for some reason.
I did e-mail their customer services to request a future deeper bowl size, but received no answer from them.

There have been extra deep base Remoska pans in the past so that's something to look out for secondhand - bit rare so maybe put a Wanted on the Classifieds on here - there may be a Funster who has one tucked away in a cupboard ! Some other "Czech cookers" were the same design but with a temperature control on the handle so again secondhand may be the way to go.I just wish Remoska would make a deeper pan/bowl version, although even with larger diameter bowl The Remoska Grand at 4 ltr and the normal 2ltr have the same depth of bowls at 11Cms. I've tried ordering from Alza as lots of us did years ago but not possible - I emailed them & they will not ship to the UK anymoreWe got one from here years ago, but that was before the ‘B’ word so no idea if the cost to import would be worthwhile now…
12" depth inside the bowl with lid off would be great as it would give so much more clearance between the cooker element and the food beneath, but I am guessing you meant 12" diameter, not depth, am I right?I'm certain my Tria has a 4.5ltr bowl, doesn't sound much extra but cooking a reasonable sized chicken would not be a problem.
Perhaps you can buy the larger bowl separately?
Just measured it, 12 in the centre.

At least if Lakeland keeps trading then more chance of their 3 year guarantees being honouredMyis for you emailing manufacturer not Lakeland being sold …
Best roast chicken cooker too - crispy brown skin with moist tender meat - yum!Best jacket potato cooker in the world
The 2 litre version is https://www.lakeland.co.uk/27635/remoska-dua-glass-electric-cooker-2l but not cheap at £189.99 - 15% discount possible with a friend referral (see post #11) or a few times a year there have been 20% discount vouchers for MyLakeland loyalty scheme members plus the odd refurb around £90 in recent years. The stainless steel cooking base pan would be brilliant if sold in the Uk
Yes the base pan in stainless would be much better, we have 2 Remoskas the smaller one and the large one, none have the stainless steel base though, that would be much more long lasting and stainless steel is much safer to cook in rather than the coated base pan.The 2 litre version is https://www.lakeland.co.uk/27635/remoska-dua-glass-electric-cooker-2l but not cheap at £189.99 - 15% discount possible with a friend referral (see post #11) or a few times a year there have been 20% discount vouchers for MyLakeland loyalty scheme members plus the odd refurb around £90 in recent years.
If you mean just the pan - sadly the Dua stainless steel base it isn't an ideal fit for the other Remoska tops but overseas it can be bought separately.

We use an additional stainless steel dish inside the non-stick ones rather than have food in contact with the coating but not as effective or as much capacity then as using the Dua with no extra pan inside.Yes the base pan in stainless would be much better, we have 2 Remoskas the smaller one and the large one, none have the stainless steel base though, that would be much more long lasting and stainless steel is much safer to cook in rather than the coated base pan.
I wonder if another stainless steel pan would be a good fit for the top, after all the main cooking/ heating part is the top area?
