A long time now
Picked up new van recently and cannot shut blinds as they do not meet at the top had to tie with shoelace ,has any body else had this problem ? it may be that the mirror stalk design has changed or am I doing it wrong .

Not long enough!
Something isn't right.
Normally there's a little cut out to accommodate the mirror stuck on the windscreen.
Do you have photo?

There should be a section near the top of the bars that meet together that slides back to leave a gap for the rear view mirror stalk.

As above, but I do have to move the mirror each time to allow blinds to slide behind, but annoying. You could just slide mirror off screen and try again.

It may well be that as it's a new van the cutout is not obvious. Check again using the pictures posted for reference.

If not, van probably supplied with incorrect blinds although I can't think of a situation where the cutout wouldn't be required.

Thank You all, I have discovered the reason for the blinds not closing properly it was the cable for the rearview camera obstructing the way ,I couldnt see it from the drivers side and have just sat in the passenger seat and Voila!all became clear, talk about the blind leading the blind.
