I know it’s the holy grail of noise reduction but has anyone come up with a natty solution (not turn up radio / stick ear plugs in) to help silence the side Remis blinds on the cab doors . I was thinking about some low tack tape - like the stuff they use on new electrical devices to hold the blind tight inside it’s housing

Thoughts ?

Mine rattled badly. I noticed that some of the Velcro still had the plastic tape on, so not stuck down, once stuck down it did little to help. Draught excluder in between the blind and the door frame helps. The big winner was making up some 9mm ply inserts to drop/wedge down into the recess on the upper surface of the door panel ( where your hand goes to pull the door shut). This holds the blinds completely solid against the door trim and then it’s goodbye rattles. In true Blue Peter style, I covered the ply inserts with black fablon stuff, and they look like they were fitted by the factory.
