If anybody is interested let me know and I'll upload the files to thingiverse. I wanted to put in a dashcam but most solutions either mount directly to the screen or mount in such a way they would interfere with the remis blinds. I bought a middle of the road nextbase which had a ball and socket arrangement for mounting. I designed and printed the bracket that I screwed into the cab roof and has three locking bolts to tighten on the ball. Works perfectly and I think most of the nextbase stuff has the ball and socket setup. Allows me to disconnect the dashcam if required and no shake on the video feed when driving!:)!

I took the rear view mirror off and put the nextbase mounting bracket in its place as the remis blinds have a cutout at that point.

I had the problem of the remis blinds and the dash cam sucker so purchased a clamping bracket that goes on the rear view mirror arm from amazon, very impressed with my £6 purchase comes with many fittings for different cameras

Great idea but when you read the reviews they don't fit a Garmin or Nextbase Dash cam. Thats me back to the drawing board. Thanks anyway.

Hi Insider, that looks a really neat solution. I have to set up dash cam every day and that means trailing spaghetti wires. Although the nextbase camera slides easily off the mount the mount and suction together do no fit between the windscreen and the blinds. We also need our rear view mirror and the cutout for the Remis blinds fits neatly around the mirror with no gaps.
Only problem is that I do not have a 3D printer which is what I assume you used.
Any one out there who could print this for me ?
Vic. Parsons.
Husband just reported he has a plan for something like Pugsy has done but he doesn’t have a rear view mirror so not sure if said plan will come together !
