The advice on here regarding remaps seems to be mostly concerning fuel economy but I have a different question.
My camper has the 2.8 idtd engine. I like to drive it between 70/80 km.
I am constantly changing between 5th and 4th gear.
The engine is revving enough at 65 km to go into 5th but starts to struggle if you drop below 80 km. I seem to have to change gear at every corner on secondary roads as I lift off the accelerator a small bit
Would a remap help or any advice please

As it is an IDTD engine it can't be remapped, that is only available to electronic control injection systems. IDTD is purely mechanical.
