Im a newbie
Well this is'nt a leaking tap problem - i fixed that by replacing the Reich Pelikan in the kitchen area of our Elddis motorhome, this problem became evident after i had fitted the tap and checked for leaks.......the outlet is really stiff to turn ! This does need to move easily to allow the glass top of the sink area to come down etc so when we went to the Lincolnshire coast for a coupe of days it was the test to see if it would work ok (I had by the way added some oil, wd40, and ptfe spray to the area that the spout rotates around - no difference). Result of weekends worth of washing up was that the tap started moving cos the nut was becoming undone. I have stripped the original (leaking) Reich tap as far as I can - cartridge out etc, but cant see how I can make the rotating spout move a little easier. If anyone can help on this one it would be really appreciated.

Sounds like you have a duff tap, spraying with WD40 will make it worse, the inside parts of the tap are nylon and WD40 makes nylon swell.

I have just repaired my seized up bathroom tap with a new cartridge from eBay
