Registration change cheque payment (1 Viewer)

I've just sent off the forms to put the registration number from the MO HO onto the car and the car registration number onto retention. This can't be done online so I had to send a cheque. I looked at the counterfoil for the previous cheque, it was dated September 2014. Don't use many cheques these days do we?

I got paid with a cheque for a job I did a few weeks ago, can't rember the the last time I had one before that.

we still take cheques at work, I think because that's how our customers have always paid. Most will change to a card if we tell them we have a machine. Still get a few, mainly older customers, who pay in cash. We don't like cash, but have to take it if offered.

Everybody is paranoid nowadays about giving out bank details . But we were all happy to send cheques with our bank details and signatures.

Get fed up of waiting for the people to fill out cheques in the french supermarkets, makes me laugh as most have cards as well.

I have a Natwest bank card, it's the only one I've had (and I've had a few) that doesn't put your account number on it, only the sort code
