Refresh a Old Thread (1 Viewer)

Is it/How possible to refresh (bring it up) an old thread of For Sale?

I thought 'bumping' is against the rules but I do see items for sale where a friend makes a comment on the thread effectively bumping it to the top again. Hope I do not get banned for making such a suggestion

Because any unsold items would be for ever getting bumped and all you would have is front page after front page of For Sale posts..

If any one wants to bump officially...

Bring up your add with a price reduction...

Cos after a month or so your item is too dear or no one wants to buy it..

Any one seriously looking for some thing that may be for sale will look in the "For Sale List/Forum..

Long winded.......... But I know what I mean...

Cos its against forum rules.

I believe if it is bumped Jim will simply delete the whole advert.
