Looking to fit refillables on the van before a lengthy trip to Scandiwegiamark soon. Probably Gasit, but has any Bailey owner got these fitted and give me any guidance on what size will fit, pretty please. I will have a measure up and make sure there is a bit of wiggle room but anyone who's done it will maybe ensure I don't make an expensive mistake on going too big and finding they won't fit.

A Calor 6kg and Calor Lite 6kg but I can't remember what I started with, probably a 13 and 6. I've measured up the opening and internal sizes and the existing bottles and I'm just about to check the Gasit website for their bottle sizes.

We have a single gasit 13kg fitted, and find one adequate for long trips. The other space is used for BBQ or a calor or camping gas bottle for additional flexibility on longer trips, but have never needed to use it.

The cost of a single bottle fitting is much cheaper.

As we have the 2016 approach autograph the skirt is non existent and we had loads of issues fitting the filler outside the locker. It was achieved with help from Gasit, in the van wall under the window next to the oven the pipe loops down through gas !ocker floor and up into cupboard under window next to oven. It has the required rubber boot and is vented through the floor, perfect and meets all gas regulations fully. Gaslow do not offer this facility, it is as gasit only option. Speak to gasit they are great and very very helpful.

Thanks for that. Gasit are offering the 11kg Plus bottles for the standard when in stock in the middle of March. Try as I might, given the 300mm diameter, I can only get an 11kg in and the a 6kg alongside it. I do tend to want as big as I can get in most things but as said, as they can usually be refilled anywhere and everywhere those two should be sufficient.

Fitting in gas locker door is no longer legal as it must be secure enough to allow someone to "pull away" not that you would. There us a minimum force in Newton's that is required to conform to regs.. The door is simply not strong enough, hence using body of van. Gasit will explain all, they are very helpful.
