Redecorating bathroom

I would like to either re paper or paint the internal walls in our MH bathroom. What paint is best to over paint the walls, or what can I use to over paper. Thanks open to any suggestions.

Hi Gina, do you have a photo of your bathroom? Also what MH have you got?

For paint, a multi surface paint will do the job. Wall paper is all depending on your existing wallboard coverings texture. If is slight embossed, it will have to be removed to create a flat surface for the new paper. Paint is more straight forward.

Not that this any help but the thought of decorating you’re MH bathroom made me chuckle.
A friend of ours bough a cheap caravan to stay in whilst helping on scout camps rather than tenting.
It had been decorated in wood chip wall paper throughout including the toilet. When it rained the paper on the roof sagged.

You may need a wallpaper paste for vinal .
or you can seal the whole of the walls with either poly bond. Or a very watered down white wood glue then a good wall paper paste.

paints may need a sealer prior to any paint being applied
the sealer will more likely be water based .
when fully dry you can apply most paints including oil based paint.

the sealer will prevent paint from peeling in the heat. Cold. Or the damp.

Hi what about instead of painting or papering some tiled wall boards you can get very light ones just need to cut to size and fit and they are waterproof , just a suggestion.
