When heating is on gas operation a red flashing lights comes on but only when the fan is on "boost" . The instruction books tells me this is indicating a low battery but I have a 140 ah new battery which is showing 12.4v.

The heating is working fine but the flashing lights concerns me.

Does anyone have any ideas ?

PS. I'm not a technical sort of chap so hope I've explained this adequately.

Try putting a few more amps into the battery and then you might answer your own question, 12.4 isn't very high.

Thanks for that, I will try the heating on gas when on hook up and see what happens. As I said I'm not very technical and I did think 12.4 was quite good. Never to old to learn. :)

The heater is a Truma circa 2008, not sure which model though.
