I've received a couple of ads. for the above whilst watching You Tube. A couple of points caught my eye...

Unusual locations

Cruising.

Looking at the prices, they cant compete in the run of the mill locations such as EU etc but if you plan travelling to less known countries, say the Balkan Countries, perhaps some North African countries they may be a solution rather than sourcing local sims?

Also for Cruising, they allow you to buy data on Telenor Maritime network. Cruises are traditionally very expensive at keeping you online but Red Bull App based e-sim seems to allow you to buy data for use at sea? Perhaps useful for the UK -Spain ferries?

Anyone any experience with them?

Not used but looks quite expensive, we are going to Chile so looked at their costs €7/GB I have used Revolut e-Sim in the past and again comparing for Chile they offer 1GB for £3.50 that lasts 7 days or 3GB for £8 and that lasts 30 days, they are dead easy to load and pay for but of course you need to be using Revolut in the first place.

When touring in S America last month, we just used an O2 bolt-on to provide data in Chile and Argentina. it used `Movistar network, so no coverage issues. Unfortunately Brazil was a different zone, so we relied on WiFi in the hotel.
