Long enough
I've always used the same vet at Le Crotoy since we started travelling, so not me.
But glad of the opportunity to say thank you for a fantastic resource. :thanks4:

I appreciate Calais would not be the normal place to get such treatment carried out. If by chance you were in need in Calais brilliant vet opposite the new Calais Aire site charged 15E ( August 2018)
Clinique Vétérinaire Le Goeland 1148 Boulevard du Général de Gaulle, 62100 Calais, France. Great beach around the corner if you were needing too stay the extra 24hrs

I used the one in mailleraye sur mer by reccomendation of a few peeps on here.

Nice little aire round the corner €5.50 per night and vet was €22 them supplying tablet.

I think you mean Mailleraye sur Seine

Has anyone recently used a Vet for the Pet Passport treatment on their way back to the UK that they feel could be added to the Google Map of recommended Vets ?

Any information of Vet, address and how much charged would be appreciated.

We used the one at Sas Van Gent again in September this year, still €27,50 for the consultation for 3 dogs, we supplied our own tablets, very friendly and they speak excellent English so if you want to ring for an appointment it's easy-peasy.

We have just used the one in Noorderwijk, Holland, it’s on your map but a price update it was £15 euros for one dog including tablet. I just walked in without an appointment.

Thanks for the map and all your hard work.

I only stop at any vet en-route but it does normally seem to cost 40 to 45 euros them supplying tablet - but i dont want the hassle of trying to find one unless i am forced to at the last minute.

Vets all seem the same it is just cost that alters but i like to get it done and for 20 euro difference in vet fees factor in time and fuel it is not worth the hassle

Keith,

Not sure if you saw this one a while back

*******
Just used the vet below for our 3 dogs and was charged 23.05euros per dog. English was ok and only made an appointment this morning for this afternoon. Would definitely use again if we were in the area.

Clinique Veterinaire
Des 4 Vallees
136 rue Commandant Dubois
73200 Albertville
Tel: 04 79 37 16 54

We saw Charlotte Devaux who was very good with the dogs and spoke good English.

  1. Stacetop – I'm probably not wide awake yet but I can't see a Vet on the Map in Noorderwijk – is it me ?

Hi Keith, it should be there maybe I have spelt it wrong!! It’s on the coast north of The Hague. I’m only on my phone so can’t multi-task well will send the details later.

Edit!!
It is me try Noordwijk !!!!

I just use Google maps itself and enter "veterinaire" if we are in France in the search bar. It will then show all the vets in the area. We did this earlier this week and selected the vet based on the reviews shown, the address was funny too. :)

This was the place we used, cost was €28 and they spoke English. We parked at the Intermarché supermarket a few minutes walk away - which we also found using Google maps. :)

Thanks for the information DBK – Vet added to the Map.

A lot of people just Google the nearest Vet but with this Map it takes away the surprise that can ensue when you get the bill after the treatment.

I know at least two dog owners, both with one dog each, who were charged over €100 for the Pet Passport visit.

Using this Map at least you know approximately how much you're going to pay without the 'OMG' moment as you look at the bill and have to open your wallet.

:D :D :D :D

We had need to go to Calais for 24 hrs. So I checked with our vet in the UK to get the dog sorted prior to travel thus having the 5 days to return.
Local UK vet full consultation fee £40 plus cost of tablet. Hence went to France and paid local and stayed a we bit longer then came back

Here's another which we used in July before getting the ferry from Santander. Pablo the vet speaks good English. Can't remember how much it was but it wasn't expensive. There is an aire on the waterfront very close or walk from Camping El Rosal.

Here is one I used whilst parked up on a rally at Marquoin : -

I think I paid around 22 euros for the treatment for our one pooch. However, I can't say if the vet speaks English as I try to get along in French
