On the hunt for any recommendations.
I installed a much better Mppt solar charge controller a few years back, connected it direct to leisure and starter batteries and have not, looked back on…the old Sargent one via the main electrics controller was next to usesless.
Now in prep for European travels etc etc, was considering replacing my 100 with a 250w panel, replacing the single leisure battery with 2 same spec.
I’m sure I can do this myself but just wanted a to see if there were any Motorhome companies in Devon who anyone could recommend? Not sure I would want to take it back to the Swift dealership we bought it off the the first place though…
I really need someone who know what they are doing (easy to say), put my mind at rest re correct cable size from van alternator, likewise the preinstalled 230v battery charger, solar direct to battery, proviso for future compressor fridge…
I have found a company called ‘outdoorbits’ in exmouth that fill all sorts of systems but haven’t found any reviews yet.
Any advice?!
