hi
We are currently in Peniscola, moving on next Saturday. We are looking for recommendations of sites (ACSI ideally) about 100 miles either side of Valencia, on the coast. We like quiet sites and cycling. Thank you!

Second vote for Kiko Park. Lovely site.
Now we are all different, didn't like it at all, mind you was having a sand storm when we visited. Quite big so not sure if it would be quiet, was busy when we were there. Love the area we usually stay at one of the Oliva sites.

We went to Kiko Park Rural last winter and although the site was fine, and VERY quiet, I wasn't so impressed with the walking & cycling, at least not if you wanted to do so straight from the site.

I would second Altomira at Navajas though. There's a lovely cycle up the Via Verde and back is all downhill - great. There's other rides too and good walks.

Another site we went to was Valencia Camper Park at Betera. Good off-road cycling in the nearby Sierra Calderona. It's also very handy for the Metro into Valencia (the camper park will sell you tickets & give advice) and you can take your bikes on the Metro (standing by the doors on the far side of the carriage) and there's a great (and easy) bike ride down the Turia Gardens (and through parts of the city) to the beach and back. Some tremendous modern architecture on the way.

Altomira at Navajas send me a birthday card every year, which is either creepy or committed marketing.

Reading the reviews on ACSI, it talks a lot about steep access to pitches. Our Motorhome is 7.5m - would we struggle to get on the pitches?

As Busby. Just as you approach the first pitches there's a sleeping Guardia Civil or maybe just a Policia Local or gully which some vans/caravans clatter over when going down too quickly. But you'll be fine.

Very busy down there at present. We ve not long left the area and quite a few places were full including bonterra. I think more people are there because French weather has been so bad this month.
