Fiat ducato o/s panel crumple just in front of rear wheel arch. Would like an alternative estimate.

I would be reluctant to quote on a photo, and I would guess most would be the same. You will have to do some legwork I’m afraid. Not all bodyshops are equipped to repair vans and trucks because of their size.
These guys do though.

if the interior has to be stripped along with the insulation etc
Yes that what I was afraid of.

Anyone have experience of removing interior with a view to re-installing......is it successful ?

Avery's gave me an estimate from examining the van - it's their photo (just a guide to the nature of the 'wrinkling' of the panel). Hoping to get another estimate for comparison.

If you are looking in the LBZ area, give Fleetline a call, Broken Link Removed he did some work for me and made a very good job of it. Its only a small outfit but I think his garage was big enough to take a motorhome. You could check on that first.

Hi, Crazylegs have you used Avery's. We need a company to look at our van. Thanks

Sorry for the hijack
I’m a vehicle repairer and painter by trade, so no I haven’t used them. I can tell you that they do good work and the boss Richard has a motorhome so he should be up to the job.
I do know of a specialist motorhome repairer in Essex which might be a better option.

Crazylegs thanks, I've looked at their web site and they appear to do amazing work on 'plastics'......

I've been in touch with another 'local' repairer and will take the van for him to look over on Monday. I'm comfortable that these companies can do the external bodywork but my concern is whether, if they have to remove interior fixtures, how they will be re-installed.
