Recommendations for lanky 3+ birth max £10k (1 Viewer)

Our son is considering join the MO ranks but has a max budget of £10k (but ideally less). He’s 6’4” and his wife is 6’ and they also have a fiesty 5 year old so need a bit of room. They both have C1 licences so weight not an issue.

I’ve been pointing them in the direction of old Hymers or other continentals, primarily out of concern (albeit maybe unfounded as I’ve no personal experience) over damp in older UK vehicles?

But to be honest, I know little about MOs in this budget/age range so looking for any suggestions around what they should be considering?

there are loads of older larger vans about cheap. he can afford to be picky as being young with a c1 and looking to buy a motorhome is rare right now

most vans pre 2005 were better built but tell him to buy a damp meter
