Since 1964 Gosh that makes me feel old.
My friends have just bought a Winnebago & went to pick it up yesterday.
As per usual a few things have gone wrong, a tyre let go on the test drive but all in all they're happy to be heading home today.

However, insurance has knocked the shine off of their new purchase.
They've had to pay £600 annual coverage & that'll let them drive it home, but they are wondering who else might give them a cheaper insurance deal?

American motorhomes are way out of my knowledge zone, so I'd appreciate some help. They have tried Adrian Flux & Caravan Guard with no success.

Needless to say I'm recommending that they join this forum.

TIA folks.

We insured our RVs with Safeguard, not the cheapest but the cover was always adequate especially for windscreens and rescue.

Try Motorhome direct, will dig out a number tomorrow, if you cant find them first

So sorry superMike, what I should have said is only the best own Winnebagos and the ones that used to own them. (y)

I paid £850. .00 7 years ago with Comfort,
I had been quoted 2£k from others. After 6 months the novelty wore of and I was very glad to see it go. Now paying half that for a MH 6 times the value.

Sounds about right to me if he really wants to knock the shine off, get his glass cover wrong that'll really do it for him.

NFU Louth.

My information is that They no longer cover R-V`s.? They where my Insurers all the time I had the R-V`s. But when I sold the last one they would not take the purchaser on?. The Winnebago cost me $700 annual In Texas. I got it down near $100 by taking a Texas driving test and Licence.
