I'm looking for a place for me and my family to go to for a few days at start of August.
We're looking around the fistral beach area and must be a nice place.
Can anyone recommend me somewhere that might still have availability?
How much should we expect to pay ?
We went to one last year that was just a field and had a hook up and was very basic and was £33 per night but on a forum I got slated for paying that much when I didn't think it was too far out of the price range.

CCC have temporary holiday sites around the Newquay area, generaly basic sites, but reasonably decent.

Don't know if it helps at all for this year but Crossroads campsite just up from Holywell beach was one we visited for 15 years.
Walkable (just) to Crantock, polly joke and Holywell. (with bodyboards but too far for surfboards)
Was always the cheapest and was friendly.
Have since found France.
If you need Fistral for the better surf then you can drive in and head for the Headland hotel but just before you go through the gates take a right and you can park there all day but youre still going to pay through the nose.
Crossroads shouldn't be in the 33 quid category however you can walk into the site next door which is a 50 quid a night sort of place.
