Recommend me a Metallic Wheel Cleaner (please!)

Muc Off alloy wheel cleaner …. That’s Muc Off 😁 in case you think I am being rude 😁

This thread is for the likes of farmers who would want to wash their tractors.

MHs are for living in, not for Prix de Concourse.

I keep the windows clean for the view, but the wheels work OK even if dirty.

You could try any cheap lemonade, I'm told it works great on wheels!

Motorhomes are also for buying and selling. If I were buying a motorhome and it was covered in filth, I would walk away.

Ariel washing powder I’ve used it since1965 on motorcycle engines on alloy rims on stuff like BMs alloy wheels on Ducati Guzzi it kept my engine on my Ducati like new with 69000 miles on the clock and my Flair wheels still like new.there 25 years old now .

Is that Bio or nonBio? Nice wheel btw.

Bilt Hamber auto wheel. Recommended to me years ago on the Land Rover Freelander forum where I asked the same question, and it does a great job even on the most persistent brake dust…

I’ve used several products successfully over the years on bikes cars and vans.

But by far the easiest that I’ve come across is Bilt Hamber wheel cleaner.

Spray it on, wipe it over with a brush to agitate the dirt, that takes about 30 to 40 secs per wheel.

Leave for ten mins and hose off
Stunning results.

(And it’s a UK company)

I sprayed the engine bay with Elbow grease remover- worked a treat.
