Looking for a home
Exp
Lived on yachts since 2007
I have a standard driving licence (not C1).

There's just me most of the time, living in the MH full-time all year round.

I have mains, water and a loo adjacent to where I can park in the 'home' location but it would be nice to be able to take my two young kids away in it also - so kid seats with belts would be lovely.

A fixed double bed would be really nice. Ideally also kid bunks.

I need a table I can sit at and work (I work online).

I don't mind living in a small space.

Budget is £25k max.

What should I look at?

TY!!

How important are the kids bunks? Are they young enough still to not be bothered about sharing a bed? You could be looking at a Hymer B544 or similar. I have the B524 and that would give you a pull down double over the front seats with a small lounge area with table in the middle and a 3/4 sized bed at the back.

You would easy find something like that for under your budget. Although with the kids I'd maybe be tempted to look at a coachbuilt motorhome maybe with the overcab bed.

Kids bunks not _that_ important. They're happy to share a bed atm - unsure how long that will last :)

The kids and their kit are going to get heavier over next years.

Staying under 3.5t may be a struggle if you want to go off-grid.

Check payloads carefully.
