we are off to Brittany for around 6 days next week with the dogs. Normally when we travel home we visit a vet nearer Calais ( usualle Rue) but we don't have the time on this trip. We will be visiting the area around Loudeac.
We used the vets there a couple of months ago. They are Dutch and speak English, but it was one of the most expensive we have been to. (Almost €80 for 2 worm tablets, no examination)
So, in an attempt to save a bit of money, can anyone recommend a cheaper vet, not too far away?

Hi, there used to be a map with loads of vets marked. I can't find it. Perhaps it didn't transfer over? Sorry, can't help as only vets I used were Dieppe area or on way north to Dieppe.

    €80 is way OTT.

Great Vet at La Mailleraye Sur Seine, cost with tablets 22.50. If you take your own, I think it was 15 euros. Lovely Aire down the road overlooking the Seine.

Thanks for the link. We have a house in St Herve that we are refurbing, (about 10km north of Loudeac) and after speaking to the neighbours, we found there was a vet in Uzel, about 3 km away. It cost us about €45 for the two dogs and included a full examination.
    The vet is
    Coltier Bernard
7 Rue Pasteur, 22460 Uzel, France.
