Just a tad..
Hello All

We fancy a change of colour on our leather interior. It’s cream currently and we are going to go for a brown! There is a small chance we may stay cream and get it recoloured in cream.

Anyway, I’ve been Googling and come up with a specialist ‘car’ interior refurbisher. <Broken link removed> They are just as the name suggests, a car interior (not a Motorhome interior) specialist. Has anyone had any dealings?

Finally, other than recommendations to ‘do-it-yourself’ has anyone got an alternative company I could engage please?

Many thanks in advance

The only thing I would worry about with recolouring is if it gets a lot of wear or scratched is the original colour going to show?

I think I'd also be worried about the colour coming off on clothes or fading.

Thanks The Wino and Shrimp … my experience with recolouring a car leather seats 15 years ago was very good, no fading in a few years and no colour transfer to clothing. The guy I used has retired and shut up shop sadly!

Hi there.

We bought a kit from off web site and painted ( re coloured) the centre padded areas on my brothers MGF. The paint was easy to put on and he uses it regularly for shows etc. The paint does not come off (as of yet any way) even though he is sitting and sliding over the padded areas painted. ALl seems ok . As regards putting it on..its labour intensive if you want that untouched finish. But over all..Quite pleased. I would think going darker would be easier . We went light cream and it looks good but as said...a bit of a chore

Thanks for all the replies.

Has anyone done this in their MoHo? Any companies that can be recommended?
