With so many off topic posts at this time of year The Recent Posts page has now been split into three parts as it was in the old place. Rallies/On Topic/Off Topic. This keeps the important stuff at the top. thanks (y)

No problem .. but the 'go to last viewed post' button is missing ?
 
Also missing is our avatar in miniature on the threads that we have posted in somewhere, and the dot to say the threads we havn't read at all. :( and I still can't find start new thread button but htat's probably me being rubbish again.

And recent has gone from the banner oh Android. Although personally i prefer New anyway.
 
Could there be a button at the bottom of the "pane" containing, for instance, rally chat, which says "more" or "jump to the rest of this forum" so that you get straight to the whole of that forum ?
 
I've kept the recent menu item but it's now displayed in the light blue sub menu.
 
Jim, I'm sure you have sound commercial reasons for the changes, but I do really really miss those little dots again each thread to say there are postings I haven't read. The dots and the "mark all thread read" was great to to limit how far down the page I had to scan.
Of course the U-shaped whats it has appeared to let me when to stop, but has that was an ignored forum for me I never saw it and could scan to the end if necessary.

Thank goodness for your explanation,,,,, went off for an hour,,, came back and no "Recent Thread" ...

Thought I had mucked up yet another puter.. :xdoh:

I will build on the functionality of that page and hopefully get those features added Meanwhile just use the supplied recent post link in the secondary nav bar (y)
 
Just left me totally confused ................ I thought I was having yet another senior moment ! (they seem to be coming more often these days).

Nope, I'm would expect that Jim would want a casual visitor and potential Funster to think that they had visited a MH site not the outpost of a political discussion forum. I see a MH forum as I select which fora to select and which to hide. Like it or not Fun is Jim's business, the fact that he manages it with a very light touch om the forum moderation side is all to his credit.

Hi Jim
Could you give us a bookmark that will bring up recents again please? it used to be 257 but that is now redirected to "forum portal"

Out of interest when was it fixed?
