recall on Dometic Fridge / Freezers (1 Viewer)

Somewhere on here over the weekend I was reading a thread about recall on dometic fridge / freezers but now I cant find it
I have done loads and loads of searches with different combinations.

I know that it had a link to a site where you could check your serial number
Any help to search would be appreciated.

Just done a Google search and could only come up with a recall for fridge/freezers made between 1997 and 2006 and sold in the USA.

A few years ago there was a recall on the 7000 series.
Why don't you email or phone Dometic.

I phoned Blandford they told me to email customers services. I haven't had a response so emailed and phoned USA they have emailed back and said they will contact someone over here to resolve the issue. In the meantime they have advised not to use it on gas. This is for information only.

There was a problem with mine under the recall scheme.I mailed customer services and they replied promptly.A local dometic engineer came to my house and fixed the problem.There was an earlier thread which I added to with this info.
