Couple of weeks ago, Suddenly had a long brake peddle & the back of the car went into crouching tiger mode, then couldn't reverse, Please watch out for this after very damp conditions followed by a very sharp frost.
I know I run the risk of being called a Fascist Bigot by the Snowflakes, for remembering thing's as better in my youth.:D2
But I wish we could have riveted brake shoes/linings again.

I should think they have, 04 with 50 thou on the clock, not had it from new! been talking to some of my trade costumers, who say its not the first time they have seen it.

At 50k it's very likely they are the original shoes so it's not that surprising they have separated and not so much down to current weather as just plain old age.
