Not sure where this thread belongs but I'm sure the mods will move it if appropriate!!

Loving our new Rimor. It has a huge garage which, tbh, we won't be filling with mopeds and bikes. More important to us is being able to flop down on the transverse bed with a book and a tin of Moretti in southern Italy

Currently it needs a ladder (admittedly only four rungs) to access, which isn't very... floppable :D

So we have asked the dealer to retrofit an electric up/down bed. BUT I have no idea what it looks like or how it works or how low it goes. Where the ladder goes? Where the internal door goes? Etc etc etc

Has anyone got this or something similar? If so, has anyone any pictures of what it looks like inside?

Very many thanks,

Dave

Not a great photo but you can see the operating mechanism at the top right of the photo (and the raise/lower switch). You can see from the support legs at the rear that the bed is shown in the lowest position.

The system seems to be an electro pneumatic/hydraulic system but, to be honest, I’ve never scrutinised it properly to say for sure.

The range of movement is probably about 12” / 30cm but it makes a big difference.
Ours doesn’t have the door that you speak of.

I got an old 185 under a tarp up the garden. Used to have it for commuting 20 odd years ago. Kick start. Wasn’t the 200 electric start?

Don’t know, I never had one! You may be right though.

Which part of the East Midlands are you in?
