I've recently seen Motorhomes with scissor jacks and axle stands acting as steadies.

I dint have an overhang problem as mines a van conversion but I would have thought steadies would triple the pitching time and the driving off after breakfast time..

The only time I can tell our van is rocking is when I'm in the toilet trying to keep from tinkling too loud :xblush:

As Gerry said earlier a lot depends on the length of overhang. My Starspirit has a large overhang at the rear which coincidently is the lounge. When visitors call it is far more solid with the steadies down. Handy during gales too(y)

my van came with them fitted were straight [as bill said now straght,ish,leave handle under van near leg
